Meet Our Founder - Ann Nirun

Ann Nirun is not only a renowned fighter but also a true embodiment of passion and dedication. Hailing from a lineage of Muay Thai practitioners, Ann's journey into the world of combat sports began at the tender age of 8. Muay Thai swiftly evolved from a pastime into a way of life for him, fueled by a relentless dream and an insatiable passion.

With an impressive record of 150 Muay Thai fights, Ann emerged victorious in most of them, establishing himself as a formidable force in the ring. His roots in the sport run deep, thanks to his father, a Muay Thai teacher who instilled in him the values and techniques of this ancient martial art.

Ann's commitment to martial arts is matched only by his love for the natural beauty of Koh Pu Mountain. Amidst his intense training and fighting career, he discovered solace in the island's lush landscapes. This passion for nature led him to arrange hiking tours, where he could share the island's pristine wonders with others.

Ann's pursuit of knowledge extended beyond the ring and the trails. He pursued higher education at Suan Dusit Rajabhat University in Bangkok, delving into politics and government within the Faculty of Political Science. His thirst for serving the community saw him become a Subdistrict Administrative Organization member, an office he held twice, most recently in 2021.

Today, Ann Nirun combines his expertise in both Muay Thai and the serene beauty of Koh Pu Mountain through Koh Pu Center. Whether you're seeking the exhilaration of combat sports or the tranquility of hiking adventures, Ann welcomes you to explore and experience the best of Koh Pu with him as your guide.

Mr. Ann was born here on Koh Pu in 1981. Koh Pu is the original name of this island. Today most people knows the island as “koh Jum”.
